I was curious at first because there was a super long line of people waiting to get into the store. So I wanted to give this local bakery a try. But we were totally disappointed. We were served by a lady who can speak Vietnamese, and she was so rude. This was our first time at this bakery, so we wanted to try out as many types of pastries, and cakes...as we could. That's why we just wanted to buy one to two items of each kind. Then she started to show a bad attitude, she complained that we asked her to pick so many types of pastries in the cabinet, but only bought 1-2 items each. In addition, the store only accepts cash, and make sure you check the price on the receipts, the price displayed was not the same as what they charged, such a misleading. The quality and taste of the pastry, cake, dumpling.... is not worth the wait and money. You can see the picture of the dumpling (banh bao) we brought, just a thin layer of meat paste in the middle. Will never come back.

A classic awesome bakery. I've been loving their coconut cream buns for decades! Not fancy, just amazing quality and prices. They've always been nice to me, but I know what I want, have cash in hand, thank them and tip. I can see where their brusqueness would seem harsh, just be cool with it. Worth it for rad cheap baked goids.

Great traditional Chinese bakery. Cash only. We get the red bean sesame balls, egg tarts, sponge cake, and most times they have this great small sesame cookies in a separate container, which o find completely addictive.

Amazing, classic Chinese bakery. Smells amazing. Prices are very reasonable- ranging from around $1.60 to $2.70 for most items. My favorite things are red bean sesame balls, and anything egg custard. They also have a lot of great coconut pastries. Must-stop if you’re in the area! This place is very popular, but worth the (short) wait!

Good selection, some things you can't find anywhere else. The paper wrapped sponge cakes are really good.

This is a mom and pop place on argyle Street which is the second Chinatown now sometimes called the Asian village. Delicious baked goods daily with boa costing only two bucks. Carry out no dine in.

Good place for baked goods. The Portuguese Egg tarts and the sesame pork cookies are my go to. BBQ pork buns are a favorite.

I really like this bakery. The people were nice and they work fast. Everything I ordered so far is good, but I wish the baked goods were kept somewhat warm. Otherwise, I really do like this place.
