We sat outside for Eat on Broadway. Great crowd and atmosphere on a nice evening helped prime the meal! Our kids split a pizza and my spouse and I shared the bread, meatballs and beets with ricotta- a great combo of flavors to start with. We then shared the tagliatelle, which was a tad spicy but overall, we also enjoyed. We has a full meal to take home and the kids earned Gelato by trying beets. I look forward to coming back! Note: there is a 20% gratuity added to bill. It was noted on the menu and the server made it clear to us as well.

The mezcal cocktail I had was delicious! Server was kind, and the pastas were incredible. The ambiance of the place is warm and welcoming.

I hate giving gracious service a bad review, but stars can’t be won by friendly staff alone. Whether the empty restaurant and the lackluster appetizers - garlic toast funghi bruschetta and bitter tomato burrata - are a sign of the pandemic or the rapid decline of a restaurant once recognized as Bib Gourmand I can’t quite tell. Unfortunately, we decided not to stay for the mains. I hope this restaurant is given the chance to redeem its reputation in a more normal service environment.

We sat right against the window facing Broadway, it was wonderful. Our host was amazing and our server was equally as great. The food is excellent and is definitely worth a visit for you and your date.
