C-House is a triple-tribute to chops, seafood, and Chicago. Marcus Samuelsson, a James Beard-awarded chef with projects such as Aquavit in New York, Stockholm and Tokyo, is the big name behind this restaurant, though Chicago chef Nicole Pederson is at the helm day-to-day.
At the top of Affinia Hotel, C-House has a stunning Streeterville view. The entire venue is sleek and sophisticated. Sample the C-bar (raw oyster bar) or entrees like yellowtail tacos, or salmon belly with cilantro, or laughing bird shrimp with black garlic cake and sour cream.
Keep dessert at the forefront of your mind at C-House. With literally a gourmet candy store of mint julep creams, lavender lemons, rocky road truffles, pistachio brittle and coconut macadamias, you just have to accommodate dessert here. The baked chocolate mousse, strawberry crumble and pancake soufflé qualifies C-House as a bakery.
