A Northside staple since 2006, Cellars Bar and Grill is a place for families to gather, residents to relax and where newcomers are welcomed with a smile. Just south of Loyola University, Cellars Bar and Grill sits across the street from the Broadway Armory where sports leagues share space with the Jackalope Theater and a wide variety of Park District events.
We are often asked what kind of restaurant we operate. Whether it is called Trattoria, Bistro, or Neighborhood Pub, we think of our restaurant as an extension of our home. We have fresh takes on a variety of small plates, sandwiches, pasta, fresh salads and sensational entrees along with tap beer from local breweries like Half Acre, Begyle and Empirical, hand selected wines by the glass andcraft cocktails featuring many of Chicago’s best distilleries.
Cellars Bar and Grill hosts monthly five-course wine dinners, where we welcome winemakers and wine experts to showcase their craft through thoughtful food and wine pairings. We also have a monthly wine tasting called 20 Wines 20 Dollars where guests can sample many different wines while enjoying a themed buffet from Cellars’ talented kitchen staff. Our Saturday and Sunday brunch has been nationally recognized as a Chicago favorite with Mimosas, tasty Bloody Marys and a menu that will wake up the most groggy of tastebuds. And, of course, Burger Monday is not to be missed.
