The last location of a small chain of Chicago chili parlors that opened on 18th and Damen in 1925, this Westmont spot, managed by the fourth generation of the original family, has been going strong since 1973. Look for mild, Chicago-style chili, chili mac made with spaghetti, chili tamales, chili dogs and beer.

Bishop's chili has the best chili around. The staff is friendly and efficient, it was a day when the bar was full but they still came to our table and were so welcoming to my family. We loved the food and the lemonade. It's been our family favorite for years. If you haven't tried it - you're missing out so go get some Chili Mac. Thank you!
