For over a century, the Beelow family farm has been raising outstanding beef, pork and produce. Home-grown and locally sourced, Beelow’s beef remains some of the best.

Leveraging the bounty from the family farm, and in true steakhouse tradition, Beelow’s Northshore serves a range of menu items to please large groups and small, families as well as those who are looking for a place to have a business meeting…or a romantic rendezvous.

Oysters Rockefeller is a signature starter at Beelow’s Northshore, and it’s done up in the traditional way, with spinach, Hollandaise and Pernod. Another favorite “opener” is lobster tempura, sweet cold-water lobster from Canada and a light breading with two dipping sauces, amazing.

For the entrée, you can go super casual or a little fancier. For the more laid-back offerings, there’s a BBQ bacon burger or “classic” cheeseburger, all made with beef from the Beelow farm. For any of these, you can substitute chicken at no extra charge, which is a welcome consideration.

Things get real when we get to the “Serious Steaks” section of the menu. There are three sizes of prime rib, aged 45 days and slow roasted over oak and mesquite. Of course, there’s also New York strip, ribeye, tomahawk and others, each available with delicious sauces including horseradish, bleu cheese and peppercorn. You can also top the beef with lobster, crab or scampi.

On the side, there are the traditional favorites – creamed spinach, mushrooms and so on – but we’d really recommend you go with the onion strings or truffle fries: both mesh magnificently with the meat.
