Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum

The Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum is a haven of Midwestern natural history located in the middle of Lincoln Park. Opened in 1999, the museum strives to reconnect visitors with nature, something hard to come by living in Chicago. It's a place where nature and science come alive, and where visitors of all ages can immerse themselves and learn about the natural world from a unique perspective. The museum provides many hands-on science instructions, and curates lots of public programming, exhibits, science initiatives, and more. There is also a well known butterfly house on-site.
