Mayslake Peabody Estate

Constructed during the American Gilded Age, the Mayslake Peabody Estate is a historic gem in Oak Brook. Built by Francis Stuyvesant Peabody, it resides in the Mayslake Forest Preserve and originally resided over 848 acres of land. The estate currently covers much less acreage (87 to be exact), but it's no less majestic, featuring the Tudor Revival style of architecture. Also on the property are wetlands, restored prairies, and lakes.
