Design and Conquer

Eat well and dress for success: Nibbles from the Carnivale kitchen and Chef Rodney Station of The Ogden and sugar creations by chefs Raymond Blanchard of the Pump Room and Mitsu Nozak of Urban Union feature during Bottomless Closet’s “Design and Conquer,” an evening of inspiration, food and fashion at 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 24, at Carnivale in River West.

Peach Carr of Lake Forest and Michael Drummond of St. Louis, designers from Project Runway, as well as local jewelry and handbag designers will showcase the latest in spring fashion at trunk shows during the event. The fundraiser also offers a silent auction, as well as mini spa services on the spot by Asha Salon.

Bottomless Closet assists low-income women to become self-sufficient by providing free job-interview and work clothes and life-skills workshops. Contributions will help the organization pay operating expenses.

Tickets are $80 in advance, $100 at the door, or $700 for groups of 10.
