Due Lire in Lincoln Square celebrates autumn with “Festa Della Porchetta,” an Italian-style pig roast in the garden from 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 9, $25.

Chef Kevin Abshire will stuff a whole pig with fennel, sage, garlic, salt and pepper; roast it for hours on the patio; then serve it with an apricot and truffle demi-glace, accompanied by caramelized brussels sprouts, butternut squash and root vegetable lasagna, herbed potatoes and grilled garlic bread.

Three beers from Andersonville’s Metropolitan Brewing Company will be available to pair with the pork, as a flight ($10) or by the bottle ($4): Flywheel Bright Lager, Dynamo Copper Lager and Iron Works Alt.
