Green City Market moves to a new location beginning tomorrow. The new site, at the south end of Lincoln Park, near the intersection of Clark Street and Lincoln Avenue, features wider, permanent walkways with improved drainage. The site also provides easier access to parking.

The outdoor farmers’ market features sustainable produce from nearby growers and operates Wednesdays and Saturdays through October, moving indoors in the winter months.

The market will host its annual Chef’s BBQ Benefit at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, July 21. Nearly 100 chefs will serve food prepared from the best of the market’s produce, along with locally made beer, wine, hand-crafted cocktails and non-alcoholic beverages. Tickets are $100 to $250.
