Eat out on Thursday and do your bit to help others.
Dozens of Chicago restaurants will donate a portion of their proceeds from lunch or dinner that day as part of the 18th annual Dining Out for Life benefit, Thursday, April 28. The yearly eating event raises funds for housing with life services for women, children and men living with HIV/AIDS. Last year, Chicago raised over $100,000, and organizers hope to more than double that amount in 2011. The funds raised in Chicago benefit EdgeAlliance.
Participating restaurants include such varied eateries as 33 Club and Salpicon in Old Town, Ceres’ Table in Uptown, Leopld in West Town and The Signature Room in Streeterville. (See this link for a complete list and details.) You can also sign up to win a $100 gift certificate.
All you have to do is make reservations and enjoy a fine meal.
