Free wine and cheese, if you please



In this kind of weather, it’s tempting to stay home with the covers over your head. What can make it worth trudging out into the snow? Free stuff!

So plan to bundle up on Wednesday, Feb. 16, and head to Oak Brook, where Grotto Italian Steakhouse will be pouring wine and cutting cheese in a free tasting from 5 to 7 p.m.

The Ruffino Chianti and Ruffino Lumina-Pinot Grigio will be paired with cheeses selected by Chef Abraham Aguirre. Reservations by Feb. 14 strongly encouraged.
