Gaelic Storm headlines the Arthur Guinness Day Music Festival Sept. 25.

The music, food and beer will be flowing when the Irish American Heritage Center in Irving Park hosts the Arthur Guinness Day Music Festival, 4 p.m. to 12:30am Saturday, Sept. 25. The indoor and outdoor fest fetes Arthur Guinness, founder of Ireland’s Guinness brewery.

Musicians include Gaelic Storm, Seven Nations, Kevin Flynn and the Avondale Ramblers, the Irish Music School of Chicago and the Dooley Brothers and Jimmy Moore and the City of Chicago Pipe Band. Tickets are $15 through Sept. 23 and $20 thereafter from the center.

Gear up for the Guinness festival tonight at 8 p.m. at Timothy O’Toole’s Pub in Streeterville during a Guinness “Black List 101” beer class and tasting. The $20 class showcases the Guinness Black List, libations of Guinness mixed with other beverages. Participants will sample seven beers with appetizers. In addition, beer students will receive Guinness merchandise and a recipe card that features over 20 different beer combinations. Reservations are recommended, but not required.
