Supreme lobster hosts two dinners featuring Arctic char.

Cambridge Bay wild Arctic char is a rare fish with a short season. The fish, related to salmon and trout, spend most of the year under the ice caps of the Arctic Circle. In mid-August, they instinctively return to the waters of Cambridge Bay in Nunavut, Canada, for about two weeks, just before the bay ices over for the rest of the year.

Supreme Lobster sponsors two dinners to celebrate the final 2010 run of wild char. The events will begin with hors d’oeuvres prepared by local chefs along with libations from area wineries, distillers and brewers, followed by a seven-course wild Arctic char dinner with wine, beer and spirit pairings. Each dinner costs $125 plus tax and tip. Seating is limited and reservations are required; phone the restaurant hosting the event.
