Festival season continues a pace in Chicago.

Tonight through Sunday, Little Italy goes all out for its annual Taste, featuring live entertainment, Italian food, beer and wine. You can stop into the new Little Italy sports lounge, Bar 10 Doors, too.

Also Saturday and Sunday, Boys Town will be bustling with Northalsted Market Days featuring four music stages and more than 40 top-name local and national music acts, including rock legend Joan Jett, and some 400 food and unique arts & craft vendors. While you’re in the neighborhood, check out the recently opened DS Tequila Company.

Next week, the 52nd annual Chicago Air and Water Show takes to the skies and lakefront from Fullerton to Oak Street, with events centering on North Avenue Beach. The U.S. Navy Blue Angels and U.S. Army Parachute Team Golden Knights headline a continuous show of boat and air activities Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 14 and 15, beginning at 11 a.m. and ending at 4 p.m. — in time for dinner in Lincoln Park.
