It’s a timewarp!
A perfect venue for a movie about a haunted castle, Excalibur in River North begins monthly midnight screenings of “The Rocky Horror Picture Show,” that 1975 science-fiction musical classic, on Friday, June 25.
Put on your fishnets and bring your newspapers for interactive partici-(SAY IT!)-pation. Live actors will be singing and dancing along with the show as well.
Five-dollar specialty cocktails served during the screenings include the “Sweet Transves-tini,” the “Screaming Orgasm,” the “Time Warp” and a “Virgin Mary.” Seating for 250 on two levels overlooks a 16-foot screen, with five large flat-screen televisions around the main stage for additional viewing.
Doors open at 9:30 p.m. with “Gone Too Soon … A Tribute to Michael Jackson” starring impersonator Rico at 10:30 p.m. Admission is $15 at the door.
