Seder, Italian-style! Piccolo Sogno restaurant in West Town will host an Italian-style seder dinner on the second night of Passover, Tuesday, March 30, with two seatings at 5:30 and 8:30 p.m.

A seder is a Jewish religious ceremony and dinner that commemorates the biblical Exodus.

Chef Tony Priolo’s five-course menu will combine Italian and Ashkenazi culinary traditions, including a selection of appetizers, matzo-ball soup and an entree choice of short ribs or halibut.

Accompanying the dinner will be Recanati Yasmin White Mevushal and Recanati Yasmin Red Mevushal, kosher wines from the high-altitude vineyards of Recanati Winery in the Hefer Valley in Upper Galilee, Israel. (“Mevushal,” a Hebrew word that translates as “cooked,” means these pasteurized wines can be poured by anyone and retain their kosher status; non-mevushal wines may only be handled by Jews.)

Rabbi Barry Axler will lead the seder services.

The cost is $75 per person, all inclusive. Reservations are required.
