Ayuh, it’s organic Maine beer at Dunlay’s

Peak Organic BeerWhy drink organic beer? Peak Organic Brewing Co. believes that using barley and hops that are grown without toxic and persistent pesticides and chemical fertilizers makes beer “tastier and more enjoyable, both for you and for the planet.”

Organic beer is brewed the same way as regular beer. The difference is that at least 95 percent of its ingredients are grown without the use of chemicals and pesticides.

You can taste the difference for yourself when Peak Organic Brewery’s Brewmaster Ian Jacobs pours his brews at 7 p.m. Monday, June 8, during a beer dinner at
Dunlays on the Square in Logan Square.

Chef David Payne will pair a five-course menu with different organic Peak brews.

Dinner and beer is $50, including tax and tip. You must reserve with a credit card.
