The historic Drake Hotel’s gorgeous Palm Court serves up a luscious night out Thursday, May 21, with rich chocolate fondue and a screening of the delicious 2000 film “Chocolat.” Packed with mouth-watering imagery, the award-winning film chronicles the story of a single mother who moves to a small town in rural France with her 6-year-old daughter to open a chocolate shop and comes up against opposition from the abstemious, puritanical mayor.
The event begins at 6 p.m. with a fortifying dose of delectable fondue, followed by the eye candy at 7 p.m. A cup of hot chocolate spiced up with a pinch of cayenne pepper awaits to quell any lingering chocolate cravings as the film concludes.
Tickets are $35 per person plus taxes and tip. Reserve by e-mail or call (312) 932-4619.
