Chicago Dessert

In the past, we’ve featured lots of Chicago desserts and confections, many of which have been highlighted in our ongoing Sweet of the Week column. But every once in a while, a dessert comes along that defies the norm, pushes the boundaries and commands attention well beyond the standard. There are two flavors on deck to try, one made with chocolate porter beer, chocolate ice cream and a whopping wedge of fudgy chocolate cake. There’s also a Vanilla Stout version featuring JP’s Casper White Stout, vanilla ice cream, and a large slice of confetti buttercream cake.
