The five-course dinner takes place from 7:00 p.m. until 9:30 p.m. in the second-floor loft space. To start, there's an "over-winterized" root panzanella with sourdough and greens, followed by porridge with egg and ham. Third is bread with cultured butter and ramp powder, and chicken with roasted carrots, mole, and arugula is fourth. For dessert, it's parsnip cake with roasted apple and pink peppercorn custard. Tickets are $45 per person
Whiskey Class at Big Star

Whiskey fanatics, take note. Big Star is hosting a special whiskey class on March 16, perfect for the aficionado looking to take his or her obsession to the next level. Hosted in part by Big Star's beverage director Laurent Lebec and Heaven Hill's Master Distiller Denny Potter, the class covers the history and flavor of Elijah Craig bourbon, along with a look into bourbon's unique relationship with music.
