Conveniently, January is National Soup Month, and Chez Moi is here to save the day with a month-long spree of warming soup flights on special. Because the only thing better than one bowl of soup is four in rapid succession! For $9.95, guests can order the flight between 5:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m., consisting of cauliflower cream soup with cumin, lobster bisque, mushroom soup, and onion soup.
Rhine Hall Cherry Brandy Release Party
Like a fine wine, or in this case a good brandy, Rhine Hall just gets better with age. The distillery on the western fringes of the Fulton Market district is renowned for its line of brandies, which can be found at numerous bars and restaurants throughout Chicago, as well as featured in cocktails at Rhine Hall's very own bar. The latest release from Rhine Hall is their new cherry brandy, which is being christened with a release party this Sunday, January 24, from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Guest bartenders from The Drifter, The Dawson, Longman & Eagle, and Sable will be in attendance to help celebrate the new spirit and shake up special cocktails. The cost to attend is $10 in advance or $15 at the door. Entry price entails one sample of each cocktail.
