Weekday Planner: International Pancake Day, Mardi Gras Cocktails, Sauced Night Market, SideDoor's $1 Menu

International Pancake Day

Making Fat Tuesday (February 17) even fatter is the fact that Mardi Gras also happens to be International Pancake Day. To celebrate the carb-tastic holiday, Hash House A Go Go is offering half-priced buttermilk flapjacks from 7:30 a.m. through the end of the day. These enormous flapjacks come studded with flavor accents like blueberry, brown sugar banana, Snickers, apple-cinnamon, mango-coconut, and blackberry granola.

Mardi Gras Cocktails at Barrelhouse Flat

Speaking of Mardi Gras, Barrelhouse Flat gets in on the New Orleans spirit this year with a special menu of classic NOLA-inspired cocktails on February 17. These include Absinthe Frappes, Pimm's Cups, Sazeracs, and Ramos Gin Fizz's. To round out the experience, Aaron "Giggles" Getsug performs big bang tunes throughout the night.
