Brunch Bites: Parts and Labor and The Boundary Tavern and Grille

In this week's batch of brunch bites, Parts and Labor serves up brunch with a side of "bartoons" and The Boundary Tavern and Grille (nee The Boundary) rounds out its new menu format with a new brunch menu.

Parts and Labor
This. But with fried eggs and cartoons.

Ah, Saturday morning cartoons. Such a wholesome pastime of yore. Such pastimes are even better awash with booze. Parts and Labor updates the nostalgic weekend repast with its "Bartoon Brunch" series, wherein every Saturday from noon until 4:00 p.m. diners and drinkers can watch a different old-school, adult-friendly cartoon while enjoying some boozy brunch. Brunch dishes include brunch burgers topped with fried eggs and thick-cut bacon, plus pancakes dippers of bacon covered in pancake batter, griddled, and served with maple syrup. Cartoons rotate each Saturday throughout February, and the roster runs as follows: Adventure Time on February 7, Courage the Cowardly Dog on February 14, Dexter's Laboratory on February 21, and Ed, Edd and Eddy on February 28.

The Boundary just underwent an entire menu revamp, rebranding itself as The Boundary Tavern and Grille. Along with its brand new lunch and dinner fare, there's a new brunch format in the offing. You'll have to wait until March 8 for the official menu debut, but the restaurant is offering samples of their new dishes every Saturday and Sunday throughout February from 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. Dishes include banana bread French toast, chicken and bread pudding, steak and eggs, and a bevy of different Benedicts. Get hungry.
