Weekend Planner: HoliDose, Santa Brunch, and Bohemian House Beer

HoliDose is Back

Dose Market is the definitive craft market for all things food, fashion, art, and more. If you're thinking it may be the perfect destination for holiday shopping, the answer is yes. Dose brings back its HoliDose Market this Sunday, December 14, at Venue One. Featuring over 100 local Dose Market vendors, plus more from around the country, it's the perfect catch-all for all your artisan needs. It runs from 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., featuring everything from wool goods and wild-caught Alaskan salmon to children's toys, home goods, apparel, subscriptions, wreaths, and much more. Cost to attend is $8 online or $10 at the door, both of which include a complimentary drink ticket.

Brunch With Santa

Santa came to Chicagoland early, and he's nice enough to linger at brunch for a while at Il Poggiolo. On Sunday, December 14, Santa will be visiting the Hinsdale restaurant from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Kids are welcome to visit and sit with the big man and share their wish lists for Christmas. They'll also be given complimentary holiday cookies, while their parents enjoy ordering off the house brunch menu. Reservations can be made by calling 630-734-9400.

Fill Your Christkindlmarket Mugs at Bohemian House

One of the greatest parts of the holiday season is Christkindlmarket in Daley Plaza. Notably the mulled wine doled out in festive boots you get to take home with you. Extend the holiday cheer a little further this year by bringing your mug in to Bohemian House. Here, they'll fill your mug with a beer of your choice, along with the purchase of a small plate. The promo is available Sundays through Tuesdays through December 23.
