Allegrini Wine Dinner
Wine helps ease the sting of the work week. It's especially nourishing when the wine is courtesy of sixth generation Italian vineyard, Allegrini. On October 14, RPM Italian
hosts Marilisa Allegrini for a five-course fete showcasing chef Doug Psaltis' Italian cuisine paired with wine, incluing a new world-inspired Super Tuscan. Wines to be featured include Poggio al Tesoro "Solosole" Vermentino, Allegrini Valpolicella, Poggio Al Tesoro "Sondraia," and Allegrini Amarone. The cost to attend is $120 per person and reservations can be made by calling 312-222-1888 or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
Choucroute is Served
Get ready to pretty much literally pig out for a good cause. Because feasting on choucroute is even more delicious when proceeds benefit the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago for research. On October 16, TÊTE Charcuterie
hosts a special choucroute-themed dinner, wherein Howells & Hood
chef Scott Walton works alongside TÊTE chefs Thomas Rice and Kurt Guzowski to show different ways one can prepare a half pig. Starting at 9:00 p.m., the pig-filled feast costs $85 per person and reservations can be made by calling 312-733-1178.

Kicking off at 6:00 p.m., the menu includes chicken siu mai, cauliflower and chili pods, kale and butternut squash crystal dumplings, black tea-smoked sea bass, spicy szechuan filet, and mango pudding with tapioca creme.
