Weekday Planner: New Weekly Special at The Winchester

Now here's a surefire way to kickstart your week on a successful note: swing by The Winchester for one of their new brisket sandwiches. The beefy 'wiches are part of a new weekly special, wherein brisket is available every Monday night from 5:00 p.m. until sold out. The sandwich also comes with a choice of beer, wine, or punch, plus a side of horseradish fingerling potato salad and fried green tomatoes for $12.

Cider Shindig at Scofflaw

It's starting to feel a lot like summer. Which means you'll want to ready the sunscreen, stock up on shorts, and of course drown yourself in boozy refreshments. None better than a cooling bevy of ciders. Get thee to Scofflaw on June 18 for a veritable cider shindig, wherein five ciders will be on tap from 5:00 p.m. until close. At $6 each, ciders include the Ace Perry Cider, Anthem Dry Hopped Cider, Vandermill Hard Apple Cider, Aspall Dry English Cider, and Uncle John's American 150 Dry Still Cider. 


Peruvian Street Food Feast Reception

If you're on the prowl for a sleek, picturesque setting for al fresco dining and drinking in warm weather downtown, get yourself to Tanta. Specifically, this Wednesday for their Peruvian Street Food Feast Reception taking place on the rooftop and pisco lounge from 5:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Expect invigorating cebiches, anticuchos, empanadas, sanguches, and causitas aplenty. The lesson is to include tips and techniques on all things rotisserie, ranging from savories to desserts.
