Bistro Goat Sunday Supper

Little Goat continues its Sunday Supper series with a French bistro-themed affair on February 9. Per usual, the meal is family-style and served in the private dining room of the restaurant. Expect vast portions of snacks, sides, meats, breads, and more. Dinner kicks off at 5:00 p.m. and costs $60 per person, plus tax and gratuity. Purchase tickets here.

Cheers to the Winter Games

A little thing called the Olympics is happening. It's sort of a big deal, so you'll want to toast to it. Preferably with flights of beer. Howells & Hood and Old Town Pour House are both serving up Winter Games-themed beer flights for the occasion. Howells & Hood has compiled an international, Olympic-friendly flight of Bourgogne Des Flanders (Belgium), Meantime IPA (United Kingdom), Krombacher Dark (Germany), Vandermill Blue Gold (USA), and La Fin Du Monde (Canada), all for $18. Both Old Town Pour House locations are pouring their own flights as well. The Old Town location has Dales Pale Ale, Allagash Black, Lindeman's Framboise, Dortmunder Gold, and Chainbreaker White IPA for $18, while the Oak Brook outpost offers Great Lakes Dortmunder Gold, Oskar Blues Dales Pale Ale, Greenbush Anger Black IPA, Green Line, and Dark Horse Raspberry Ale for $18.

Olympic Chocolate Flight

Once you're done with the Olympic beer flights, race over to ENO Wine Bar to partake in their chocolate flight. With all these flights, you'd think aerial acrobatics was one of the Olympic sports. But I'm not complaining when it means I get to combine Tahitian vanilla bean and white chocolate, 85% Valhrona dark chocolate, and 85% Venezuelan dark chocolate for $11.

French Cauliflower Melt at Burger Boss

The special burger of the month at Burger Boss puts an unlikely ingredient front-and-center. I mean, when was the last time you ate a bed of fried cauliflower florets atop a burger? This French-inspired creation features Muenster cheese, Granny Smith apples, fried cauliflower, curried mayo, and an Angus beef patty on brioche. The perfect accompaniment because why the hell not is Burger Boss's chocolate hazelnut shake, also on special for February.
