Get Groovy and Generous at Localized @ the Bedford

Nothing sets the stage for charitable causes quite like DJs and liquor. That's why y'all should shimmy over to The Bedford this Saturday, June 29, for the monthly Localized @ the Bedford event. Localized is a composite of three DJs and their significant others, all working together to make a positive impact on the West Town area. The DJ trio spent years working as a lawyer, a dentist, and a designer, shifting into their alter egos behind the DJ booth at night. What started as a fun side gig evolved into a charitable cause, supporting various neighborhood-focused organizations at monthly events.

Localized

Localized teamed up with The Bedford earlier this year, with a mutual passion for uplifting the area and supporting its causes. The musical do-gooders have also aligned with Bar Keep Collective, a novel and burgeoning restaurant and bar consultation company captained by industry vets Zach Friedlander and Stu Mitchell. The collaboration between Localized and Bar Keep Collective has enabled the charitable events to rise to the next level, ultimately fusing love for music and frivolity to encourage positive change in the neighborhood. And really, it's hard not to feel charitable when you're surrounded by cocktails and good vibes.

This month's cause at Localized @ the Bedford is Un86'd, a restaurant-focused charity created by industry pros Jessy Bolt from La Sirena Clandestina and Nicole Ess from Carriage House. Un86'd provides monetary relief for restaurant professionals in need, with plans to educate workers on how to maximize public and private healthcare.

Localized @ the Bedford goes down this Saturday from 9:00 p.m. until 1:00 a.m., with featured cocktails provided by Reyka, Monkey Shoulder, and of course Bar Keep Collective. Go get groovy and generous.
