You can spot Hot Doug's by the long line of hot dog fans waiting to get in, especially on Fridays and Saturdays, when the fries are cooked in duck fat. The crowded lunch spot serves perfectly decent Vienna Beef dogs, but the long waits are because of the changing lineup of specialty sausages made from wild game, foie gras and other out-of-the-ordinary items.
